In addition to California, 47 states and the District of Columbia have fuel cell or hydrogen-related activities. Hydrogen stations and fuel cell vehicles operate in Florida, Michigan, New York and Washington, DC. The National Hydrogen Association provides links to each regional program.
Many countries outside the US have active hydrogen demonstration programs, including Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Norway and Iceland. Below are links to some, although not all, of those programs:
- Clean Urban Transport for Europe (CUTE)
- European Integrated Hydrogen Project
- Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Canada
- Japan Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Demonstration Project (JHFC)
- London Hydrogen Partnership
- European Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Platform (HFP)
